A cold front reaches the Alps from the west.
In the morning widespread precipitation, with the snow line between 800 and 1500 m. In the afternoon, the rain and snowfall will ease from the west and the clouds will start to break up.
The highest temperatures will range from 5° to 7°.

Humid and increasingly mild air masses will be brought in by a strong south-westerly high-altitude current.
Very cloudy conditions with light rain in some areas during the morning. Precipitation will become more frequent in the afternoon. The snow line will rise to between 1400 and almost 2000 m.

Forecast
Unsettled conditions also on Tuesday, with the snow line dropping towards 800-1300 m. By the evening the precipitation will subside across the whole region.
Wednesday will be quite sunny after a clearing of residual clouds.
On Thursday, there will be some low stratus clouds at first, but then the sun will prevail everywhere.
On Friday, sunshine will predominate with a few harmless clouds.
